Jeremy W. Floyd

Jeremy W. Floyd has been a freelance designer in and around Chicago since 2008.  His costume designs have been seen at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Kansas City Rep, True Colors Theatre Company, Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, The Hypocrites, A Red Orchid, Silk Road Rising, and Remy Bumppo. Mr. Floyd received a Chicago Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for his designs of The Hot Mikado (Drury Lane, 2011).  Jeremy also studied makeup design at the Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA and has worked on various film and print productions as a makeup artist and wardrobe coordinator. 

Mr. Floyd has also taught at Northwestern University and the University of Kentucky.  As an educator, he seeks to create a supportive and collaborative environment for students to discover their own viewpoint for storytelling while using a research based approach to design.
